There are times that cause you to place your palm on your forehead when it comes to our cats.  Lately I have had many questions of my own as to why certain things happen with our cats that cause a small amount of chaos in our lives.  Here are some things that I have questioned when it comes to my boys, and some I have managed to find answers to and other just remain face palm moments:

I have heard it so many times in my life – “My cat does not get along with my new puppy, looking for a good home for it”, or, “My husband is allergic to my cat… looking for a good home”.  This just breaks my heart to be honest.  A cat comes with so many responsibilities and is a lifelong commitment.  The moment you feel the need to get a cat you need to consider everything that could come your way with this little feline.  Don’t let it be an impromptu decision, it is one that should not come lightly, because at the end of the day, if it turns out to not suit your way of life, you will be to blame, but the cat is the one who suffers.

Personally, one of my favourite things in life is organised chaos.  I love to feel in control but at the same time I love the feeling of having no idea what to expect.  When it comes to my three boys they give me this ultimate experience.  Every day with them is something new, yet always the same in some purrculiar sort of way. 

As many of my followers on the Kattak Facebook page have probably seen over the last couple of months, I love to look for quotes and pictures of cats that relate.  I find it very interesting to see what people who are somewhat influential, think about our feline companions.  The other day as I was looking for the daily quote I came across one that I thought would be a great topic for my next blog.  The quote was this: “Cats understand humans; they just don’t care to show it.”  This sparked something in me because over the past 10 years of enjoying the companionship of cats I tend to disagree!  Here’s why.
